Post Elgin History

Jupiter Corp. said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Elgin National Industries Inc. intends to sell its Welby-Harwood division. Elgin has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Jupiter in a tender offer of $17.25 a share, or approximately $62.5 million. The Welby-Harwood division imports and makes specialty and alarm clocks.[2]Chicago Tribune, 23rd April 1988
